SMALL BUSINESS SCHOLARSHIPS

The Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Council, in partnership with INSERT SPONSOR, is excited to announce the launch of the Small Business Scholarships Program, designed to support the growth and development of startup businesses in our area. This new initiative aims to empower emerging businesses by providing valuable resources and opportunities through an Oak Ridge Chamber membership.

The Small Business Scholarship Program is specifically tailored for businesses located in Oak Ridge, Anderson and Roane Counties who are not current Chamber members, have been operating for less than (3 or 5?) years, and employ 10 or fewer employees. Recognizing the challenges faced by entrepreneurs, INSERT SPONSOR and the Chamber will award scholarships to 5 businesses per year. Each scholarship will cover the cost of a one-year 'Business Builder' membership. This level is valued at $420/year and includes access to networking, educational opportunities, resources, and so much more! 

The application requires details about the business operations, challenges faced, and the benefits they hope to achieve from the membership. Applications will be reviewed by the Chamber (Board of Directors Executive Committee?) as they are received.

Current members are not eligible. However, you can speak with our Membership Director about monthly payment plans, referral credits, and any financial hardships you may be experiencing.
