George moved to Oak Ridge three years ago with his wife, one daughter and one granddaughter.  He is retired and very actively involved in the missions of the First United Methodist Church in Oak Ridge.  His greatest interest include the "Community  Meals".  Each Wednesday, about 25 volunteers prepare 180 meals for the neediest in our community.  There are no questions asked except one--"How many meals do you need?"  Through his membership in the Chamber, he hopes to spread the word about this work and to find new ways to support our wonderful community."
